The area surrounding Broad Oak, Icklesham, Westfield, Cackle Street, and Brede offers a rich and varied walking landscape, steeped in heritage and surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. The 1066 Country Walk is a 31-mile footpath passing through the region, tracing the footsteps of William the Conqueror from Pevensey to Rye.
