The Yellow Map Atlas Range
The Yellow Map Atlas covers a large area, up to one and a half sheets maps, in a compact format. As a concept it was created for the recreational cyclist but is equally useful for the long distance walker and the motorist who likes to explore country lanes and smaller roads. Working with Ordnance Survey’s 50k scale mapping enlarged to 40k, which is surprisingly easier to read, the atlas folds out when open to give a map page of 41 x 26 cm which equates to approximately 10 x 6.5 miles. The atlas has 32 pages making 16 of these map pages. The centre pages are a map key showing the overlay of the pages on a large scale map. The cover is laminated (showerproof) and has a comprehensive Legend on the inside flaps.
