The Pennine Way Maps

The Pennine Way Maps are a series of 9 Zigzag maps covering the whole of the Pennine Trail at an easy to read scale of 1:20 000.

The Pennine Way, stretching from Edale to Kirk Yetholm, was the country's first National Trail, it spans 268 miles and offers walkers a challenging yet rewarding journey through England’s backbone. These maps of Pennine Way Walk start in Edale, the path ascends the rugged moorlands of Kinder Scout and Bleaklow. Moving north, the path traverses the limestone cliffs and valleys of the Yorkshire Dales, such as Malham Cove and Pen-y-Ghent. The trail continues through the remote, heather-covered expanses of the North Pennines, then crosses Hadrian’s Wall, offering a glimpse into Roman Britain.. The final stretch covers the rolling hills and wild landscapes of the Cheviot Hills before reaching Kirk Yetholm.

In walking the Pennine Way, you encounter a mix of steep ascents, boggy moorlands, rocky paths, and grassy hills, making for a varied and often strenuous hike.
