South West Coast Path Walking Map 2: Woody Bay to Saunton

This second in the series of South West Coast Path maps starts in Woody Bay and ends at Saunton, a distance of approximately 20 miles. The trail goes past the Beacon, a Roman Fortlet, passing through Heddon's Mouth and over Trentishoe Down before descending to Combe Martin which lays claim to have the longest main street of any village in the country. It then passes Watermouth Castle, a Victorian country house built to resemble a castle, and then reaches Ilfracombe, famous for its Tunnels Beaches, hand-carved tunnels leading to sheltered beaches and rock pools, and the statue "Verity" by Damien Hirst. Continuing on you reach Lee, then Bull Point (with its lighthouse) and Morte Point, both notorious for shipwrecks in earlier times, finally reaching Woolacombe with its 2-mile beach. Pressing on you head round Baggy Point, past Croyde before arriving at Saunton.
