South West Coast Path Walking Map 4: Buck's Mills to Menachurch Point

This fourth in the series of South West Coast Path maps starts in Buck’s Mill and ends at Menachurch Point, a distance of approximately 27 miles. Leaving Buck’s Mill, the trail, after a few miles, reaches Clovelly, a privately owned harbour village which has been in the Hamlyn family since 1738 and has a notoriously steep cobbled main street. The path follows the cliff tops to Hartland Point, with its lighthouse built in 1874, and then on to Hartland Quay, which was a harbour dating back to the time of Henry Vlll until destroyed by a storm in 1887.There is then a long stretch of about 13 miles along the cliffs with the path descending and ascending a number of times, approximately 2000 ft of elevation, before reaching Menachurch Point.
