Norfolk Coast Path Maps & Peddars Way Maps

The Norfolk Coast Path Maps and Peddars Way Maps are a series of 6 Zigzag maps using high-resolution Ordnance Survey data, covering the two Trails at an easy to read scale of 1:16 000.

The Norfolk Coast Path is a long-distance trail stretching for approximately 84 miles along the Norfolk coastline. Beginning at Hunstanton and ending at Hopton-on-Sea, the path includes dramatic cliffs, expansive beaches, salt marshes and picturesque villages. Highlights of the Norfolk Coast AONB include the sandy dunes at Holkham, the charming harbour at Wells-next-the-Sea, and the birdwatching paradise at Cley Marshes. Peddars Way stretches approximately 46 miles from Knettishall Heath in Suffolk to Holme-next-the-Sea where it joins the Norfolk Coast Path. The route dates back to Roman times, when it served as a military road. The name "Peddars" likely derives from the Latin word "pedester," meaning "on foot," highlighting its historical use as a pedestrian route. Along the way can be seen the remains of Roman forts, historic churches, and picturesque villages like Castle Acre, known for its well-preserved priory and Norman castle.
